Bio

Matt Glickstein is a songwriter/composer/pianist. Now 26 years old, Matt was born and rasied on O'ahu, Hawai'i. Matt graduated from the University of Redlands in southern California, where he majored in music composition. His work includes pop and rock songs, choral works, soundtracks, a complete musical called Freshmen Follies (performed at the University of Redlands), and a recently completed (2010) solo piano album, Piano Moods. After graduating from Redlands, he lived in Los Angeles and worked with Disney composer Don Grady. Matt worked on the production of the Disney Princess Birthday album (set for release in 2010) and wrote a 30 second cue for the special edition of the Jungle Book DVD. Matt also wrote a song for Dog the Bounty Hunter called Set the Dog Free, which sold over 1,000 copies on iTunes. In 2007, Matt returned home to Hawai'i where he met his wife, Kerri.

Matt and Kerri were married in June, 2010, and currently reside in Lanai City, Hawaii.  In July 2009, Matt completed I Do, a song used as the theme song for his wedding.  I Do was reviewed by Nashville singer/songwriter Ruby Amanfu, who called it "highly cinematic" and "great for a movie theme."  He keeps himself busy writing music, attending songwriters' workshops, and taking online classes with the University of Berklee School of Music.  In December 2009, Matt completed the class "Songwriting For Film and TV" through Berklee and hopes to soon have his music placed in that media.
